The play's the thing!

Actually, that should be "the plays are the things," but that didn't sound as nice.

Here I'm going to try to list all of the theatre that I've done, in reverse order (newest first).

Role: Assistant Stage Manager
Who & Where: Groundworks Theatre, Darkhorse Theatre
When: February 3-11, 2006
Notes: Depressing as hell. I was idle for most of the show; I only had four cues for pecking at the window. On the plus side, I've never been a title character before, and as a techie no less! Because of the two-person cast, I had my own dressing room, too.

Role: Stage Manager
Who & Where: John Holleman and Company, Darkhorse Theatre
When: January 12-14, 2006
Notes: Just a collection of random scenes done in masks. Pretty cool, though I think it should have been a bit more structured. This was my first show with Molly after we started dating; she was in the booth and I was backstage, though. :\

Role: Assistant Stage Manager
Who & Where: Groundworks Theatre, Darkhorse Theatre
When: December 2-10, 2005
Notes: This was pretty much a sequel to Hellcab, though all the scenes were written by individuals involved with the company. It could have done with some editing, but still fun.

Role: Stage Manager
Who & Where: ACT 1, Darkhorse Theatre
When: October 21-29, 2005
Notes: I didn't want to stage manage; I originally signed on as the ASM. However, similar to Little Women, I had no one to assist, so I got the promotion. I made fun of everything from the booth.

Role: Assistant Stage Manager
Who & Where: Rhubarb Theatre, Darkhorse Theatre
When: June 9-12, 16-19, 23-25 2005
Notes: Grr... Nice people in the cast, but on the whole, I hated the cast. Did find my ideal A-ASM, though: Molly was great to have on my crew. Totally dependable, read my mind at times, and cute to boot. :)

Role: Assistant Stage Manager
Who & Where: ACT 1, Darkhorse Theatre
When: April 29-30, May 1, 5-8, 12-14 2005
Notes: Another show where all I did was strip people and dress them again. Difference being it was a guy dressed as a woman, and there were several (13) complex changes.

Role: Assistant Stage Manager
Who & Where: John Holleman Company, Parthenon
When: April 7, 8, 10, 14, 15, 17 2005
Notes: Aside from helping Erik in and out of his costumes and masks, I just stood around for a long, long time.

Role: Assistant Stage Manager
Who & Where: ACT 1, Darkhorse Theatre
When: February 17-19, 2005
Notes: I just ASMed it for one weekend because their regular ASM couldn't be there (her mother was having an operation).

Role: Assistant Stage Manager
Who & Where: Groundworks Productions (?), Darkhorse Theatre
When: December 2004
Notes: Fun fun fun. Great cast, great show, and my first paying gig. Hell yeah!

Role: Stage Manager
Who & Where: Murfreesboro Little Theatre, dunno where
When: November 19-21, 26-28 2004
Notes: I wasn't supposed to be the Stage Manger, but it turns out I had no one to assist. A fun enough show, but a bit frustrating (I met some cool people, though).

Role: Assistant Stage Manager
Who & Where: ACT 1, Darkhorse Theatre
When: October 22-24, 29-31, November 5-6 2004
Notes: A fun show to do, but I must say, one of the most immature casts I've had to deal with. Loud as hell, I felt like I was babysitting them on more than one occasion.

Role: Assistant Stage Manager
Who & Where: ACT 1, Darkhorse Theatre
When: September 10-12, 16-19, 23-25 2004
Notes: Man oh man, this cast loved to party. :)

Role: Aleksey Belyayev
Who & Where: Murfreesboro Ensemble Theatre, Murfreesboro Center for the Arts
When: May 6-9, 14-16 2004
Notes: The show that I did when I met Courtney.

Role: Prop Manager (also did the poster)
Who & Where: Pendulum 3, Bongo After Hours Theatre
When: April 15-17, 22-24 2004
Notes:

Role: Assistant Stage Manager
Who & Where: ACT 1, Darkhorse Theatre
When: March 5-7, 11-14, 18-20 2004
Notes: Second only to All In The Timing in the number of friends I've made.

Role: Evening Sponsor
Who & Where: Pendulum 3, Murfreesboro Center for the Arts
When: December 18-20, 2003
Notes: I still have the sign that says "This evening's performance is brought to you by EVula's Lair."

Role: Crew (the crew is very active in the show), Actor (bit parts)
Who & Where: ACT 1, Darkhorse Theatre
When: June 21, 22, 25, 27, 29, July 1, 3 (full shows) June 20, 28, July 4 (highlight shows) 2003
Notes: The single best show I've ever done, simply because of all the friends it has ended up introducing me to.

Role: Stage Manager
Who & Where: ACT 1, Darkhorse Theatre
When: June 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 29, July 2, 5 (full shows) June 21, 27 (highlight shows) 2003
Notes: Ran at the same time All In The Timing ran.

Out of order stuff, just trying to get everything down. These will get stylized like the ones above once they are in order.

Notes: My favorite role I've ever had.

When: sometime in 2002
Notes: Huzzah for swordfighting.

What The Butler Saw
Role: Can't remember
Who & Where: Razors Edge Productions, Bongo After Hours Theatre
When: sometime in 2000 (?)
Notes: The show I lost my modesty during, because I had to strip down to my boxers on stage and then come back on in a dress.

Doctor Faustus
Role: Assistant Stage Manager

When: October 2002
Notes: My first ASM gig.
